- Facilitate an art, craft, or STEAM project for you. We help you choose a project and artist to best fit your specific theme, goal, or benchmark.
- Work with educators to determine whether individual projects or collaborative community
art fit the space and time allotted. - Provide access to art at your location or our studio.

Do you Offer ARTIST IN RESIDENCE (AiR) for Schools?
Yes. We do! The projects and art available is as vast as the people we have access to. Benton County is full of artists with all kinds of talents. Your school can let us know what kind of art, craft, or STEAM project your group is interested in and we will make all the arrangements from start to finish. We will find the right match, schedule, plan, prep, order supplies, prepare the space, teach, support, clean up, complete final details, and even install.
Do you Offer ARTIST IN RESIDENCE (AIR) for HOmeschool Groups?
Yes. We do! Just like with school programs, we offer homeschool groups Artist in Residence (AiR) services in our Community Art Program.
Do you Offer ARTIST IN RESIDENCE (AIR) for Private Groups?
Yes. We do! We offer Artist in Residence (AiR) services to groups, such as businesses, places of worship, community centers, or block parties in our Artist in Residence (AiR) Community Art Program.
What Kinds of Projects do we offer?
The projects and art available is as vast as the people we have access to. Benton County is full of artists with all kinds of talents. You let us know what kind of art, craft, or STEAM project your group is interested in and we will make all the arrangements from start to finish. We will find the right match, schedule, plan, prep, order supplies, prepare the space, teach, support, clean up, complete final details, and even install.
Our staff and artists are here to work with you on a common goal. We can collaborate on a specific theme, goal, or benchmark.
Project categories include but are not limited to:

Choose from 2 formats:
1. Individual Make N Take Projects
These projects stand alone although they can be displayed for a time collectively they are each in and of themselves a piece of art. Individuals take their project home upon completion or after the “exhibit” is over.
2. Large Group projects or Installations
These projects are done by individuals with the purpose of creating one large community art project like a Mural or installation. These are more in depth and require collaboration and we are happy to brainstorm together on what you might envision that to be.
WHERE DO WE OFFER ARTIST IN RESIDENCE?
- Your place – We can come to you. Your business, community center, school, auditorium, block party, or place of worship
- At Maxtivity – Take a field trip to the studio.
SERVICES & SUPPORT WE PROVIDE
The Maxtivity service is about connection and making ART happen. We will learn about your needs and desires and then find the right artist to meet those goals. We make IT HAPPEN. You can count on us to establish a team, take care of scheduling, details, prep, establish supply list and order, prepare the space, teach, support, clean up, add finishing touches, and install if necessary. Our standard Artists in Residence fees are as follows:
1 Artist + Maxtivity services ($75 an hour)
1 Artist + 1 Staff + Maxtivity services ($95 an hour)
1 Artist + 1 Staff + 1 additional support person + Maxtivity services ($115 an hour)
Large scale custom projects (such as murals, large scale mosaic installations, etc.) vary in cost based on market rates for artists based on skill level and design time.
*Supply costs are added on top of service and support. Dependent on type of project and the number of people. An estimate will be provided.
AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING
We are here to work with you on a schedule that fits the needs of your group as well as considering the availability of an artist. We won’t know until we gather more info but we can look at DAYS, EVENINGS, and WEEKENDS. We promise to make the scheduling process easy.
